OUR HISTORY
A Generational Family Story

BORN FROM INVENTION
Headquartered in Saginaw, Michigan, USA, Glastender traces its origin to 1969 when founder, Jon D. Hall, invented the world’s first automatic rotary glasswasher. The cutting-edge glasswasher design saved space and eliminated wasted steps for bartenders.
The second glasswasher sold was incorporated into a pass-thru cocktail station. The station design allowed bartenders and servers to work as a team, doubling bartender output. This started Glastender’s trend of innovation.
Jon’s creativity, flexibility, and desire to manufacture high-quality products has been ingrained into the culture of Glastender. Over the years, this enthusiasm for developing products to meet customer needs led to a tremendous expansion of the Glastender product line, which continues to this day.
